Wave Bashing Doha Style

This is for all the wave bashers, wave runners or whatever you are called that were out on the bay near the Museum on Saturday evening. I got lots of pics and put them together in a slide show. Most of the pics are silouettes, but if you recognize anyone or know someone that was out there, please pass it on. I'm more than happy to share the original pics with them. Thanks for the entertainment, guys! Here's the link:

If for some reason, that doesn't work for you, check my post at http://qatariadventures.blogspot.com/2009/06/wave-bashing-doha-style.html

The sailing club has started to take the number of the vehicles (whatever they are called) and reports them to the police. Must University

Didn't mean to strike a nerve with these guys. I see where they could definitely rain on someone else's parade when it comes to sharing the water. Safety does not seem to be an uppermost concern of theirs. Sorry the music doesn't suit your ears dotdot. Vernon is right about the Beach Boys. They had great success with their "surfer" music from the early 60's on.

Are you suggesting that there are regulations in place against surfing or bashing in this area, and those guys broke the law?

Complete attention wh*res, they destroy the peace and tranquility of Safliya Island, Palm, and Banana Island for families. They are no more than sea lice with an attitude - although to have an attitude you first need a brain, and most of these guys clearly do not warrant that... With that said - you really have captured the idiocy and lunacy incredibly well - I was really impressed with several of the pictures, and my post in no way is meant to take away from a great effort. For all of those reading this - when you are getting harrassed by these jokers - take down their registration numbers and call the police or coast guard. They won't do anything about it immediately, but with enough complaints coming in, someone will finally get around to regulating them!

Nice photos, but these guys do not need the encouragement. Some of them think they own the ocean and show no care for others. My children sail and there have often been near-accidents with some of these guys. The sailing club has started to take the number of the vehicles (whatever they are called) and reports them to the police.
