back home in NL,. highway at low hours 130km/hr

Germany most autobahns 130 is recomended but NO speed limit ;)

France 140 km/hr (also uphill, so big engine needed if you haul a trailer)

USA,. 75 miles same story as in france,. and for one state as in Germany

its not up to the car manufacturer to enforce laws,. thats up to the independent country's

7- Singapore

Some consider that chewing clot expresses bad manners, but in Singapore will be exposed to legal accountability if you chew gum in public without having a medical permission.

Sulie, according from my personal experience when I went to Singapore. The law was created because people disposed of gum incorrectly by sticking it under places like chairs or tables. And you can't also smoke in public places.

Suli, no idea but maybe personal safety reasons. Police in Malaysia do not have the habit of explaining laws to people. They just enforce them. If you persist in asking them, they would probably arrest you just for being annoying to them. :D

make sense,

#2

running out of fuel on a "autobahn" is a safety hazard for others and your self with the speeds you are allowed to drive there,.i.e. you don't want to stand still on a road where cars pass you with +200km/hr speeds

#6

ever driven in Denmark??

because of all the water,. fog is normal and because off the long daylight twilight condition is a normal thing for hours a day,. hence way more save to drive with drivelights on, these can be your normal lights or additional "driving lights"

Under the terms of the Polish Potatoes (Notification) in England Order - 2004: No person shall, in the course of business, import into England potatoes which he knows to be or has reasonable cause to suspect to be Polish potatoes.

and

A sensible one:

Under the terms of a bye-law it is illegal to "Jump" the queue in the tube ticket hall. Any person directed by a notice to queue (or when asked to queue by an authorised person) shall join the rear of the queue and obey the reasonable instructions of any authorised person.
