City Centre Mall(CCM) sealed for public for three consecutive days!
When profit($$) comes first, fire safety was neglected. Jeopardize people's live. Now, just imagine how much money CCM loss due to the sealed operation!
For Management out there, regardless what business you are into, when talking about safety. No compromise!! Put effort in term of budget, time, resources rather than regret later!
Lesson Learnt from Villaggio. SAFETY FIRST!
P/S: I really miss my gym class at Fitness First CCM. One and only in Qatar. Where shd I go now!? ;P
I think at parking area also a fire trap, renovation in progress since last 6 months, onstruction everywhere and no sprinkler at that area. 4th floor Al Ansar also no proper exit.. From Fitness First there are exit door thro' the staircase near sauna room lead to assembly area. Few months ago,fire incident has occurred at the food court area.
Btw, fitness first Club will open at Al Sadd? will check..hopefully coming soon so that I dnt have to go to CCM every time I wanna go to FF gym.

Last heard, CCM incured a huge loss not because of keeping the shops closed for 3 days but coz of loss in parking charges which they could have earned in these days !!!
but one time, we went up an escalator thinking there is an access way going to Ansar, but we end up on Fitnss first and the guys there told us, no way to Ansar, so we go down again and take the escalator going to Ansar main entrance. But thanks for the info, next time I visit the place, I'll check that corridor you are telling.
Think you are referring to Ansar Gallery on uppermost floor (Level 4)... there is a corridor next to the shop that leads to Fitness First - not only is there another escalator near there but you also pass another corridor exit on the right which takes you to the back fire escape. I encorage you & your loved ones to familiarize yourself with it next time while shopping. Good luck!
recommend to double or triple check the uppermost level of CC, the department store there (bargain center, I forgot the name). For me, it's a fire trap with only the escalator as egress (for sure they need more, maybe I had not seen it).
fitness first was about to open a new venue in al-sadd. did they?
