DOHA • The Doha Bank's Al Khor branch office was attacked by an unidentified person, yesterday. The vandal threw stones and broke the glass panel of the front office.

The incident occurred around 4 pm. According to an eye witness, the miscreant, after collecting a huge pile of stones in front of the bank, was seen throwing them at the building. In the attack, the huge glass panels of the building broke into pieces. On hearing the news, Al Khor police rushed to the spot. By the time, a group of Qatari youth overpowered him.

The youth, in his late thirties, is believed to be a GCC national. Al Khor police is interrogating him.
