What are your best 'DOH!' moments..., as I
...just had one & now feel a right Homer!!!
Had some of my personal stuff shipped from Dubai & my stereo wouldn't work on plugging it into the mains supply, so was all set to go out & buy a replacement this evening....
But before I put said item out for disposal being a bit of a DIY'er I dug out an electrical screwdriver & decided to see if I could see what the problem was......
Before I even removed any screws, I noticed the bloody voltage selector switch on the back had been shaken in transit from 240v to 110v..., this switch was clearly obvious....., slid the switch to 240v & hey presto, my stereo now works....
Doh!!

You're not the only one with an excellent imagination gal...., mine gets me into trouble all the time as it's connected to my mouth & I won't go any further here tho...lol !!! ;-)

One of my many 'Duh' moments was walking round a mall noticing I was getting what I thought were admiring glances. I was silently congratulating myself on my funky happening style when I caught a glimpse of myself in a shop window and discovered I was wearing my abaya inside out.
Red face glowing I hurried into a clothes shop to change.
Now whenever I wear an abaya to go out I ALWAYS make sure I've put it on properly lol.

This morning I couldn't start my renta, thought there was a problem until I realised I'd left it in D last night when I switched it off, rushing to get back in the apt to see what was happening on QL...... ;-)

Hm, don't know about the best one but the latest one was a few minutes ago when a friend of mine said she was going to Austria this week and I asked her if she was going to ski... doh!
