and safeguard her job as well.

It doesn't matter if you two live in separate accommodations for now...as long as you do what you need to do.

to get married... what they have done is not give you family status... but if she is here in Qatar, then that means she is on someone elses sponsorship, so for now, you have no problems except that you need to get married as soon as possible... deal with the family status issue once its done.

She can be married and on someone elses sponsorship, thats not a problem... when baby is born, you will just need to get clearance from the police to register the baby's birth.

Don't worry about anything else right now.

OK guys thanks for your advice.

I've been yesterday with my fellow friends to help me.

And I'm planning to marry her next month.

Is it still okay with the authorities?

The problem again is I can't be with her since I'm living in my company's accommodation.

but that doesn't mean you can't marry her. That would be a really lame excuse for you not to marry her.

You should marry her so she could go on with her pregnancy and still work until it's near time for her to give birth. She could give birth here or in her/your home country.

As long as you two has that "marriage contract", that won't be a problem at all.

What kind of "contract" bans men from getting married? They normally work harder when married, unlike women who tend to stay at home and raise children, ehm.

or those of your girlfriend, but if you love her -- and you both want to get married and raise your baby together -- please go somewhere and get married QUICKLY. Qatar is not a place any unmarried woman wants to be pregnant in. She won't be able to get proper medical attention and she runs the risk of severe punishment. What's most important in my mind is that you move FAST.

Once she's gone, she'll be alone and he might forget her..

Best for them to marry..

this is would be my question: "what were you thinking???" ...if you can't marry her now, send her home, ask her to leave Qatar... and try to deal with this situation in your country..

I'd say marry her, and keep your relation as it is if your contract is "single status"...

Get back to your country for a marrige and return back for work. There is something like "deferred marriage status" in a single status contract.

It is difficult and almost impossible to get any mdeical assistance, if she is not carrying a marriage certificate..

Sam I think you'll need to get her out of the country until you are married, an unwed pregnant woman here is not what you want to deal with (relative to the Authorities....)!!

I am hoping that your contract status just means that you cannot sponsor her. Please marry her as soon as possible. She needs pre-natal care and cannot risk that if she is not married.
