I bank with Ahli, Mashreq & Doha at present. Not all the banks meet your expectations. I'll mention in points why do I stick to them for the time being:
1. Doha Bank - Has online banking facility where I can easily get Hala card for myself hehehe. But their long queues for customer coupons make me sick so I make sure I dont have to deposit anything in Doha Bank physically & prefer wire transfers, its extra charges do not bother me at all as it saves time. Plus my account is Dana Savings account, who knows one day I'll be millionaire with their draws :P
2. Mashreq Bank - Has online banking facility & got credit card from them where I kept 100% auto debit at the due time. I have account in a branch near to my home & whenever I go there (except for two cases) I always get my job done in less than 10 minutes of time. Excellent service I must say & staff if they start recognizing you, always cheer you with smile. I am talking about Mashreq Bank in Tv Roundabout area & the Filipino lady sitting over the counter at the reception in particular :)
3. Ahli Bank - Has online banking facility again, but this one has been opened only for my salary transfers. I deal with City Center branch which is very convenient for me as it remains open from 10 to 10 straight. I have seen them banking on Friday & Saturday even although didnt bother them on these days. Their service is nice too but just one problem even though their is an option for updating your address online still I am unable to do that & when I try to change it by submitting request they do not show much interest in that.
I previously was banking with UBL too but its beneficial for you only if you are working there as you have full control over all the related transactions & your requirements get completed in no time but if you are a customer then there is a very hard time. Scenario being sometimes the staff is not competent enough, sometimes the junior staff does their job efficiently but Managers only to show their power & seniority keep on pending that job of the customer for only a signature thus putting customer & middle staff member in big trouble. So, at least from my side I would never ever recommend anyone to this bank only to hear complaints that 'you recommended me to this bank that's why I am in trouble'.
Atif42...I do understand what "Experience of Banking" means ... as u also said "may be....." ...by asking him to be specific just intended to save us from breaking our heads as to what he is looking for...
For me an online banking facility and a knowledgeable call centre staff are enough ... with ATM's and credit cards I hardly go to the bank...so knowledge/ behavior/ service of their physical staff really don't matter to me..
Anyway concious effort has provided him the full details.. he would have already reached on to his decision.

No I moved to IBQ but seems I got stuck with same issues as QNB...

May be he is intending to open an account in that bank & seeking the status of this bank among others. What kind of service they are providing etc
I dont have enough money to bank with many banks...just stick to one bank and thats it, so cannot give a rating ...lol
BTW ...what are you looking at... if u can be more specific as to what u are looking at u get better feedback...
