when 'theta' approaches 90 degrees, tan (theta) approaches infinity...

when x is finite and in the fraction x / y, y tends to zero, the value of the fraction x/y tends to infinity..

Infinity is an invention, a concept. But even the universe is not infinite. Since everything is within the universe, nothing can be infinite.
