For me, im a SLASHER FILM fan. I watched every parts of Friday the 13th, Halloween and Candyman! The Sixth Sense is good also. The EXORCIST is my face one!
Try to get ur hands on SHUTTER, a thai movie with english subs, by Directors, The Pang Brothers.... The most awesome flick I've seen ever, so true to life..
The one in which the Wonder girl Dakotta Fannings's acted in...don't remember the name. The movie is based on split personality problem or something like that. The girl keeps on saying that she has a secret friend named Charlie. Anybody remembers?
Scared me half to death. Gave me the shivers for hours afterwards. Sixth Sense also gave me a scare. Prioe to these only the Exorcist really sacred me.

I'm not sure if this is the title but it's the one where Wynona Ryder was in. And the Dracula movie that John Marcovich (spelling check?) produced (with Nicholas Cage, I think), directed and acted in.
King, I agree, the original Japanese versions are scarier even though you have to read the subtitles. They really scared the hell out of me! LOL
Owen, Fengshui and Sukob, I did not appreciate because there is no redemption in end. Both stories had presented a way to end the curse but in the end it did not. The curse just continued. So the whole story is baloney - same as the lead actress' portrayal. Patayin...(the original) is the first thriller I watched on TV (sine siete or something) and I can still remember it sometimes. :)
watched both versions for those movies. The Japanese versions as well as the American versions. I can say honestly that the Japanese versions were much scary than the American ones. Something like the Grudge the Japanese version ... I was staying alone in the datk with my headset on my ears and for sometime .. I felt like someone was putting her face near mine ... and I was like wooooow .. Switch on the light and let's this crazy night ends with the less brain damage that we can get here :)
Don't see scary movies generally. Is it just me or did anyone else find Childs play scary??? Saw it when i was quite small, so might be biased. Resident evil is another one that comes to mind.

The problem is this guy got all of his 4 parts cut down and still crawling, the poor girl knows that it is very dark and the criminal is waiting for her there, still got no choice but to run there and had her neck cut down like if it was made of paper.
There are probably more modern films which I have found scary, but Dorian Gray was the first I ever saw. My mother didn't want me to watch it, so after she sent me to bed I crept back down the stairs and sat half way down peering between the bannisters to watch the TV through the open living room door.
I don't think I slept too well after seeing the end!

Depth's of human depravity at it's starkest. Unfortunately my old wooden stake & garlic is not giving me any comfort since I've saw 1 & 1/2 sessions.
Wonder if they were shown in Qatar. If you'll have not sensed it by now, we are a 'see no evil, know no evil' society.
may the fear be with you...
Exorcist ( uncut original version )
Exorcism of Emily rose
Grudge ( japanese )
Silent hill ( very creepy )
Ring 1
omen ( Original )
The exorcism of Emily Rose.
The music in that series was scary enough to put anyone off for good :D
Knight Rider (tv horror series)
It had a creepy lead charecter (David the Hoff) and an extremely scary talking car
- I took the blue pill and found myself alive in Qatar - wish I had taken the red and stayed in Europe
Don’t see much of horror movies..but this one rocked, may be coz I saw it very late in the night and was home alone..

Race with the Devil and Omen (all of 'em)
Mommmeeeeeeee
patayin sa sindak si barbara (kill barbara with panic) is a good film by celso ad castillo (fav director of treysdad, perhaps)
I like Final Destination.
I think Feng Shui (a disappointing disparity) got the idea from Final dest., wherein you're guessing what would be the cause of the deaths.

Speaking of Silent Hill, I'd like to know the person/s who came up with some of the tricks in it. Wonderful nightmare mining!
I also remember liking like The Serpent and the Rainbow (1988), it's more colourful and entertaining than most films that are meant to scare you.
Oh and I love the whole catalogue of camp teenage horror where the blonde 16-year-olds are getting slashed as soon as they lose their virginity...
Don't see scary movies generally. Is it just me or did anyone else find Childs play scary??? Saw it when i was quite small, so might be biased. Resident evil is another one that comes to mind.

Not a big fan of horror movies :)

1- The Ring P1.
2- The Grudge P1.
3- The Exorcism of Emilly Rose.
4- Silent Hill.
5- Texas Chainsaw.
Like the Horror and Tense environment and the ones based on stories, not the bloody ones with people crawling with their insides out.
The exorcist, the exorcism of Emily Rose, The ring, the shining, The omen and dawn of the living dead are some of my favourites.
The Shining & Warlock & Poltergeist
