Where do you get local news/tidbits in Qatar

Interestingly this poll shows that many people rely on Social Media sites for local news and not the news papers.

Qatar Living is one place you can get a lot of local news.

What do you think?

Doha news is an interesting website to get local news updates no doubt. Any one hooked on to the radio to listen the live streaming of Al Jazeera?

Most recently, Doha News has proven itself to me - the rest including QL to a certain extent have proven themselves to be less than reliable. QL doesnt deal with up to date breaking stories but then in fairness, its not designed to be a news chanel - the English speaking newspapers are quite simply a cut and paste disgrace. QBS is a sham and a disgrace in regards anything associted with the dissemination of up to the minute news. I like what Doha News is attempting to do.

newspaper in Qatar? It's more likely a "lifestyle magazine" for me! it seems that they are implenting total news blackout for bad things happening in Qatar. ;(
