Which is the the better browser?Firefox or IE?

Firefox isn't the culprit. Even if you run anti-spyware app you need to turn off system restore, restart your PC and turn on system restore again.

Also, have Firefox require confirmation of cookie placement on your PC. You'll be surprised how quickly your blocked cookies list grows.

Firefox at home. Been with the fox ever since the demise of Netscape.

Opera at work - allows me to quickly turn of images when the need arises ;-)

FireFox & Opera are the best Browsers yet.

For work related I use IE.

For anything more than a single "X" I use Opera.

Also IE7 checks if your OS is Pirated and disables it if it is.

try avant browser..it some cool features which is missing in IE & Firefox. i really can't comment on which one is the best among IE, Firefox and Avant but in my experience it is really worth a try.

I cant remember about popups in Firefox.I have blocked them in my security system and so i dont have this problem.I think freeware is not a good stuff cos they mostly includes trojans or adavare.I stoped to download this issues.

Now Firefox is working without any problems.

A month back, i would have said IE is the better browser anyday.

But now, i swear! Over my dead body!

i've heard ther r still some security issues with firefox...

i installed firefox, aftr it appeared in the tech group of qatarliving... soon i started gettin popup ads and some trojans filled my pc... i use AVG.. it deleted some trojans, but they kept appearin again... aftr unsuccesfully trying loads of softwares (winpatrol, avast, spyware doctor, trojan guarder, trojan hunter), i finally managed to fix it using "vundofix"... that was 2 days back, and so far theres been no probs...

so i'm not quite sure if the prob is firefox or anything else, mayb one of the geeks here can answer this!

other than this, firefox is great!! u get loads of cool themes, and all those extensions available are really helpful!

i dont use IE anymore!

The bad thing is that some pages only working with IE.But really Firefox is more comfortable to use,it looks better and as i know they started first with tabbrowsing which is cool.

Don't like the idea that Microsoft has it all their way and from the information they can get from my use of their browser.

before IE was good to use when FireFox was not introduced

but now FireFox is fast from anyother browser and very easy to use ...
