Meet ups ended about a year and a half ago. People just stopped turning up to them. Anything I said I was going to attend, I attended. But with just one day a week off and evening work, I ran out of leisure time. But I turned up to things I said I would. However too many people were putting their names down for gatherings and then not turning up.

The last memorable event I went to was a fabulous Halloween party thrown by UKeng back in 2010. But subsequent coffee meets started getting attended by less and less people. DaRuDe is still organising stuff, but I haven't managed to get to anything now for almost 2 years. Smoke has his pool group alive and kicking, with regular meet ups. And my now defunct photo group always had a good turn out. Why not join a group? Or there seems to plenty of fresh blood on the site now. Not on this thread, but on a new one, why doesn't someone try and get a coffee meet going?

Love to meet FathimaH, knowing and meeting someone like her would be a blessing.

Wow! I am impressed! Many of you ladies and lads have actually taken out time to see each other besides your busy routines and it must be appreciated.

Keeping the humor aside, I can see some very touchy sentences above, especially by FathimaH.

Though its very tough to make an entry in already existing group, but seeing your seriousness and level of association, i would love to be a part of it. Being part of QL for more than year now and absolutely hate the fact that i should have taken out some time for this thing. But lets hope its not too late.

Of course I would love to meet those who like to meet me more. I'm so touched you guys chose me, really! Considering how much cooler and interesting many others are as compared to me!

I still regret missing a meeting with Snessy. And I can't believe I haven't still met Nomerci, Tinker, and Xena yet considering how well we all get along.

Miss Mimi is another person I long to meet as well but God knows when and how.

Of those I have met, either from among the ladies, or the families of QLers, I have truly enjoyed each and everyone's company mucho! Somehow everyone is always nicer in person.

Even those who have met me for purposes besides just meeting up and have wished that I keep our associations private, I still found all of you to be very friendly and nice.

Which is why I honestly consider QL and my being a part of this forum, one of the greatest blessings ever!
