The guy had been found innocent sometime back and they were planning to release him anyway. So why has the Washington Post taken up the story again??

Its surprising anyway.

Americans in general are quite ignorant of reality...they take their truths from the media (CNN, FOX et al)...thus they swallow with ease the CIA pre-scripted tales of 'Al-Qaeeda', those fuzzy videos, translated by the incredulous CIA (which was planning to blow up a ship in Miami in the 50's and blame it on cuban agents a pre-text to invade cuba. Not too mention their role is assasinating leaders and planting agents to do their dirty work).

In the wests war against Islam (called war on terror) led by America, the US has lied to her own population about 9/11, Iraq and Afghanistan, as a pretext to lauch her vicious crusade that will end in failure. So who in their right mind would swallow such nonsense with ease? The answer; the typical american!

So when can we see this in the local press? Interesting story.

jane01, why the surprise? It's always possible that a terrorist lives next door to you or me. Being a journalist, you should know better that these people act in such a way that they don't differ from normal people. Not even people who live in the same house with them are aware of their actions.

Anyway, thanks for putting it up. Really interesting :)

May the roof above us never fall in, and may the friends below never fall out!
