I think the peoples of USA will be very interesting in the collection of coins that's why coins are very famous in the USA.

enough coins in circulation, the government says that there are. A few years back they even chastised the stores for this practice. I solved the problem by ALWAYS using my debit card for purchases. I don't care if it's only 1.50 riyal purchase. P.S. the stores are required to give you the change, so hold your ground and demand it.

yup, instead of coins the cashier usually gives me a Batook chewing gum and i give him/her a Blank Stare...:(
^But it is the principle of it. Plus, if a cahier is running 300 people through their cash every day, they are walking away with 75 riyals (of stolen money). I don't know, maybe I am being cheap.
In all honesty how much would it add up to even over the course of the rest of your life...is it even worth thinking about...apart from the fact that there isn't too much you can do about it

It's got to a point now where I simply tell the cashiers "no thank you" some of them then look suitably embarrassed, some would just round up the bill total in my favor(and they are my favorites), and some just shrug like whatever..one was quite cheeky though. Forced the instigating candy on my daughter! All this trouble, you'd think they'd rather stock up on the "nus riyals"
