Giant flames engulf every floor of 34-story building and it remains standing, yet limited fires across just 8 floors of WTC 7 brought down building within 7 seconds on 9/11. How can NIST’s “new phenomenon” explain this one?

A fierce fire consumed all 34 floors of a skyscraper in Beijing today, shooting 30 foot flames into the air, but unlike the similarly-sized 47-story WTC 7, which suffered limited fires across just eight floors, the building in China did not collapse.
“The fire was burning from the ground floor to the top floor of the large building, the flames reflecting in the glass facade of the main CCTV tower next to the hotel and cultural center,” reports the New York Times.
“The 241-room Mandarin Oriental hotel in the building was due to open this year. Flames were spotted around 7:45 p.m. and within 20 minutes the fire had spread throughout the building, dominating that part of the city.”
“Hundreds of firefighting vehicles and police blocked off all approaches to the building - which was also set to house a luxury hotel due to be opened in 2009 - with flames appearing to leap 20 to 30 feet into the air,” adds The London Times.

Compare images of WTC 7 with those of the skyscraper fire in Beijing. Note that the Beijing skyscraper appears to be leaning due to the unorthodox design of the building - it did not suffer any kind of collapse.

the planes hit it right on the spot!

the heat of burning jet fuel had heated the steel to collapsing point. the steel insulations had helped in prolonging the time for the steel to resist heat but the jet fuel heat intensity is way too high compared to normal building fires.

the weakening due to fire induced chemical alteration of the steel combined with the buckling stress induced by the upper floors' weight had caused the columns in direct contact to flame to collapse.

and the rest is history now..... :(

New York is well known for its Irish population and as a result the Twin Towers were protected by Leprechaun security and their communal pot of gold in the basement.

As the fires spread throughout the towers the Lephrecauns fled, lest they singed their beards, taking their gold and magical protection with them. Thus the towers became vulnerable and collapsed.

The Chinese building had Dragon security and as fire breathers they were impervious to fire; in point of fact they snuggled up nice and warm within the flames and protected it with their superior sorcery.

That's about as sane an answer as most of the conspiracy plots go, so I am sticking with this one; you can't prove I am wrong!

The World Trade Center

The World Trade Center (sometimes referred as WTC or Twin Towers) was a complex in Lower Manhattan whose seven buildings were destroyed in 2001 in the September 11 attacks. The site is currently being rebuilt with six new skyscrapers and a memorial to the casualties of the attacks.

The original World Trade Center was designed by Minoru Yamasaki in the early 1960s using a tube-frame structural design for the twin 110-story towers. In gaining approval for the project, the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey agreed to take over the Hudson & Manhattan Railroad which became the Port Authority Trans-Hudson (PATH). Groundbreaking for the World Trade Center took place on August 5, 1966. The North Tower was completed in December 1970 and the South Tower was finished in July 1971. Construction of the World Trade Center involved excavating a large amount of material which was used in making Battery Park City on the west side of Lower Manhattan.

The complex (sometimes abbreviated WTC and informally called the "trade center" or the Twin Towers) was located in the heart of New York City's downtown financial district and contained 13.4 million square feet (1.24 million m²) of office space.[1][2] The Windows on the World restaurant was located on the 106th and 107th floors of the North Tower, while the Top of the World observation deck was located on the 107th floor of the South Tower. Other World Trade Center buildings included the Marriott World Trade Center; 6 World Trade Center, which housed the United States Customs; and 7 World Trade Center, which was built in the 1980s. The World Trade Center experienced a fire on February 13, 1975 and a bombing on February 26, 1993. In 1998, the Port Authority decided to privatize the World Trade Center, leasing the buildings to a private company to manage, and awarded the lease to Silverstein Properties in July 2001.

On the morning of September 11, 2001, al-Qaeda-affiliated hijackers flew two Boeing 767 jets into the complex, one into each tower, in a coordinated suicide attack. After burning for 59 minutes, the South Tower collapsed, followed a half-hour later by the North Tower, with the attacks on World Trade Center resulting in 2,750 deaths. 7 World Trade Center collapsed later in the day and the other buildings, though they didn't collapse, had to be taken apart because they were damaged beyond repair. The process of cleanup and recovery at the World Trade Center site took eight months. The first new building at the site was 7 World Trade Center which opened in May 2006. The Lower Manhattan Development Corporation (LMDC), established in November 2001 to oversee the rebuilding process, organized competitions to select a site plan and memorial design. Memory Foundations, designed by Daniel Libeskind, was selected as the master plan, which included the 1,776-foot (541 m) Freedom Tower, three office towers along Church Street and a memorial designed by Michael Arad.

your proposition, you seemed to have eliminated the dynamic impact of the kinetic energy generated when the upper floors came falling down, accelarated by the gravity as it came falling.

how many floors by the way is on top of the burned floors?

granted there was explosives, but correct me if im wrong to have viewed the video images showned. that i don't seem to have seen any flash waves or burst of explosion that blew flames and debris further away from direct impact.

which means it was purely high heat by fire generated by jet fuel upon impact combined with burnt local building materials .... that caused the collapse.

anyway, i am just stating an opinionated observation here. maybe right maybe wrong... "caveat emptor"

This would be the Cheaper option...for Demolition

Filling one floor with aviation fuel and setting it on fire could be the Cheapest & Safest way of demolition.

Even if they did melt the steel...it cannot melt the steel on every floor equally so as to sink every floor.

If any building has to come down in that it has to be demolished using bombs placed at the main positions and timed using computer chips.

The precision of the floors falling one below the other is very difficult and for these Demolition Experts are required.

Ok for 1 building to happen we can blame it on luck. But 3 buildings one after the other?

Not possible by fire

Reinforced Concrete may still be standing after lengthy fire, but the heat may had altered the strength properties of the concrete and reinforcement. Thorough structural investigation must be conducted to assess the after effect worthines.

worst case, the structure maybe unfit for occupancy and condemned for demolision.

What brought the whole of WTC down was not exactly the explosion. The steel skeleton, on which the building's load rested, melted with the heat caused by burning of tonnes of aviation fuel. Steel can lose its strength at about 600 deg celsius and once that happens it simply doesnt hold up.and steel is a great conductor of heat so this heat was passed thruout the structure. You might have noticed that the building literally settled/sat down as opposed to going up in flames or exploding. and the point where the aircraft explode was perfect enough for the heat o be carried where it mattered.

I'm pretty sure that this 34 storey structure had concrete beams/load carrying members. Structural members of concrete has been found to stay standing even though they lose their usefulness.
