I am with France!

giasi, you said that it must feel bad to lose against a team whose youngest player is over 28. But it doesn´t, they will be the world champions!!! Again!!!!

I am not sure this one fits for all British People..but certainly a couple of know-all snobs of this website..(Only a couple)

Ok equinox, never mind, the "Japan" prediction was pretty risky and the "Italy" one was plain crazy.

Today is easy.

Can´t wait to watch the France match (GO BLUES!!!!!!!!) and the Brazil later on.

1- Japan will beat Australia (sounds crazy, but I really believe so)

2-Cheqz Republic will beat USA

3-Ghana will beat Italy (ok maybe no, but would love if they did!)

Italy would win ofcourse! They got alotta good players of their own.

I remember when AC Milan came here n played qatar's team, ended in either 5-0 or 10-0, cant remember exactly lol.

Heh, I'd say England or Brazil as is most expectable. Can't really decide between them, awesome line ups.

"think spain might have a good tournament for a change and i think italy will be real contenders)"

You´re kidding, right? Spain most certainly will have to meet France,( I bet you that one) and we are screwed.

As for Italy...ahhghgh I´d hate them to win!

Brasil has world class players, it would be boring for them to win again, but... that´s my prediction.

just thought what some others might make S&M as thinking be!

oh and butterfly hope brazil go out in the first round ... its just the most generic team to say will win (i am not doubting their pedigree but c'mon ...; can see a 2-1 loss to croatia on the cards) i think spain might have a good tournament for a change and i think italy will be real contenders)

ok then, metoo im sorry, but nonetheless i assume by mentioning time zones the game was at some unholy hour and by you info i assume you are in the states now. But the game in question was not so, it finished at 5PM (EST) and 2PM (Pacific Time).

and whilst im here ... just putting it out there ... i think probably dreaming here but S&M 1 - Holland 0 ... Djorjevic belter lol?

I love football, but I´m more into football clubs. World cups I find, sometimes, that players don´t deliver and is all a bit of a joke really. That´s just my opinion.

My husband is crazy about any sport, but football even more than any other. He is gone completely AWOL since friday.

Hey Laudgi7, I don't know why you are talking this way, but I am sure that you don't know that there is time zones in this world, so check it out.

Doha, Center of the City. And the only stream i could get was on a weird Chinese channel, and that too always starts after 6pm. So i got to watch the Trinidad vs. Sweden match. But i wanted to watch englands and they werent showing that!

yeah ... ok sure but do not prdict the result of the game after it has ended ... that is all i ask.Im sorry to say it was nNOT A PREDICTION; (def. by reasoning about the future)

If you are to say that after the game say Poland were expected to win etcccccc.

We get it on our satellite feed.... that was the only reason we got TV!

Laudgi... I have been hearing that song around home a lot recently... lol...

Alright this is soooooo annoying man, I don't get to watch the matches. Some chinese channels were airing them, but now even those are gone... wtf is the point of buying all the "satellite" dish/cable network POS connections anyways when you don't get to watch a single damn match. You just get "buy this card, that card" BS. BBC sports was supposed to be streaming it live but even they restricted that service to the ppl in the UK only after the first match. Seriously this is making me really mad. Such a big event and they can't effin pay for live coverage of it?! Seriously TV is useless here.

I reckon Brazil will win again.

metoo, i must say u have no idea of what the world cup. I am not saying this because you are American (which is a big hint).... but because u said Poland will beat Ecuador 2 hours after the game had in fact ended. I would have no problem u saying it b4 or during the game (esp. considering Ecuador's away record) but Not after the game. Its like me telling you now that Zargawi is still alive....

Please for the sake of keeping people sane, please only comment on football if you can name more than 5 (EDIT From 20; feeling extremely generous) players in the world cup. I am putting this as a MINIMUM requirement... does anyone agree?

I am sorry for seeming rude but im sure you wouldnt like people commenting on things they have no idea about!

N.B. MVP for Poland v Ecuador match was C. Tenorio; striker for Al Sadd.

I agree that England shud beat Paraguay but it needs great care... i think it will be the hardest team of the group and I think they will be quite tricky ... they have a number of top players (Roque Santa Cruz has had a really good end to his season)

I think Argentina v Ivory Coast will be quite one to watch.
