Xbox live on Xbox ONE
I was thinking of getting an xbox one, but then i read on a thread here that xbox live isint supported in qatar. Sure enough it isin't. so i did a live chat with a microsoft tech assistant , and he said that although it isint supported i could get on live by changing the reagion. He did mention about some kinda issue when verifying the IP, but added that games would work fine.
My top priorities are online multiplayer and online game downloads ( dont want the discs). I've never been on the xbox. I had a ps3 which i sold and got a pc, but i miss playing on the console. So yeah,i dont know what online play on xbox is like. It worked fine on the Playstation although connection was a little laggy. So anybody with experience playing on the xbox online, please commment on what we can do and we cant do on xbox live here in Doha.

I too am an Xbox user and as far as I've known, multiplayer and other additional options isn't really compatible in Qatar. However the solution to this is very simple and that is to just change the XBOX location to UAE. Works for me :)

I have yet to use the online multi-player option, but you can download games to your Xbox from online. I have had no issues with that, I have over 10 games so far and I do not own a single disc. I did not have to change my region or anything. Sorry that I couldn't be more help.
