Just watched it today in the cinema ..great movie!

some of the movies i wud recommend ppl to watch -if only, when a man loves a woman, sweet november, walk to remember, msg in a bottle,here on earth, notebook, remember me, love actually, city of angels for romatic stuff.. then do watch following, dark knight, batman begins,memento,human traffic, lock stock and two smokin barrels, pulp fiction, trainspotting,gladiator,goodbye bafana, zodiac, fracture,goodwill hunting, day of the jackal ( brilliant) , snatch, sea biscuit, schindlers list, pricelesss, a knights tale, ten inch hero.. these are some of my personal fav apart from the ones mentioned in the forum

Didn't anyone watch Amin: The rise and fall about the late Ugandan dictator Idi amin? Good movie that one.

Interesting to know you have been there arien,but Raid on Entebbe is included in this movie as well.

Fight Club. "You DO NOT TALK about Fight Club."

History Boys. If my memory serves me right, this was actually a play?

Requiem For A Dream. This one is very depressing, and quite disturbing, so be prepared if you do decide to watch this.

The Dangerous Lives of Altar Boys. This one too is quite sad.

Running with Scissors. Somewhat sad and funny.

Harry Potter 5 and 6. This is the beginning of the end *sad face*

Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Jim Carrey actually delivered a good performance.

Click. Lighthearted and quite moving.

Little Miss Sunshine. Not your typical comedy movie.

Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby. Will Ferrel is so funny!

Dan In Real Life. Light romantic-comedy-drama movie.

Evan Almighty. I thought Steve Carrel was waaay better thab Jim Carrey.

American History X. Two thumbs up for Edward Norton and Edward Furlong.

Wizard of Oz. I had nightmares when I was little because of the Tin man, LOL

The Man in the Iron Mask. If you're up for some grand adventure with the Musketeers :)

Sleepy Hollow. Tim Burton + Johnny Depp = how can you resist?

Edward's Scissorhands. Again, Tim Burton + Johnny Depp = how can you resist? :D

Sweeney Todd. Long live Tim Burton and Johnny Depp!

The Nightmare Before Christmas. Yes, I am a Burton fan.

The Wedding Singer. I fell in love with Adam Sandler in this movie.

The old Bond movies, not the ones with Pierce Brosnan and the Casino Royale guy. Ugh.

Back to the Future (all 3 of them). Marty McFly was my first love :)

Castaway. I don't know why, but this movie captivated me.

500 Days of Summer. My kind of bittersweet movie.

The only romantic movie that I would suggest you watch is Sassy Girl, it's a Korean film, it'll make you cry, laugh, laugh and cry. Hollywood rom-coms, for me, are basically the same. Similar plot, ending...

So yeah, I'll end my suggestions here, seems like i could go on forever. Have fun watching! :)

Why you didn't watch Step up part-1

It wasn't boring... accept it dt it was on slow side, but what do you except from such a movie? I mean its not like some Ocean's eleven or Final Destination.

Yea notebook is a gud movie... hav u seen Dear John from the makers of notebook. Channing tatum n amanda played their part really well... i like amanda's big blue eyes :-)

I like blood diamond more than shawshank redemption, it may be a different movie, but blood diamond stands out inspite of having several movies of its kind.

if you wanna cheer up just watch any Adam Sandler movie :)

its nothin to do with it being on imdp top 10.. its really a well made neat movie.. blood diamond is good too, but shawshank is a class !! no such movies made again.. but u have movies similar to that of blood diamond tho not as good as them..

I guess shawshank redemptions is the best.. follwed by Inception now.. hats off to christopher nolan for makin such intelligent movie.. u need brains to make such movie.. sheer brains..

Did it really scare you? i mean with it's unpredictable villains,the lions in this movie,out to wreck havoc on the entire community in that film,yes i agree it was quite disturbing to a few people.

And btw,Indian actor Om Puri is also in that film.

I might add another african movie based on an actual event,Black Hawk Down,about the failed American Military mission in Somalia.That movie didn't do so well though.

Arien,the last African movie you mentioned is actually The Ghost and The Darkness,it is about two maneless,african man-eating lions during the building of the East African railway during the colonial rule in East Africa,one lion is named Ghost and the other Darkness,it's a fantastic movie.

i've couple of frnz who like shawshank redemption just becoz its top on imdb's all time top 250 movies... i like it too, but its not better than blood diamond...

The best ever bond movie has definately got to be Casino Royale,fantastic movie! Two thumbs way up!

Amongst the movies listed above by you good people, which I have not seen and which seem to get the maximum vote is the Blood Diamond. So, I will look forward to seeing it tonight...Cheers.

I like the "Resident Evil" ( the 3 installments and one more coming up) and all other Femme Fatale movies. "My wife is a gangster" was very nice also(all 3 installments).Plus,I like asian horror movies and always watch them in this site- asia-horror-movies.com.(try it at your own risk);)

I preferred Austin Power then Mr.Bond :P

Fav movie is "Remember The Titans" though.

I like Blood Diamond starred by Leonardo diCaprio...years back I've red a novel based upon the deBeers co.history in South Africa and that attract me to watch Blood Diamond...nearly the same thrilled feeling after finishing both stories...for imagining what kind of life happened there... Horrible and bitter.

And I like the cartoon movies Despicable Me...just like The Devil's Advocate but in humouric taste and its doesn't give me "pain" like the Devil's Advocate.

hey tinker, don't feel bad..Even i like BOND MOVIES..But this one(DIE ANOTHER DAY) was really terrible..

tinker, you know i got severe headace when i went to watch the BOND MOVIE namely DIE ANOTHER DAY...hehehe..

I have seen Demi Moore's GI-JANE and i just loved it..

The reason is just simple : to see a WOMAN FIGHTER as strong as depicted in the movie..

still brave heart is the best

i like the scene when they show their A** to the other army hahaha.

despite of what the actor is now , i like brave heart the most.(acting,music,drama,...etc)

and now he is a racist after his "small comment about jews"

they own the media that plays in your minds, so simply they ruined his picture like they did with briteny before.

but yes i like another scene , when he discover that the one who betrayed him is his friend. the look in Mel is great man.

Brave heart got good drama, nice action, some moments of laughter, good picture and the acting ain't bad. Hard to find all that in one movie.

i personally like good fellas a lot. Scorsese usually does it right, even with daniel day lewis in gangs of new york..

I don't like Mel Gibson too! He is racist and his movies are full of graphic violence! Apocalypto is horrible! I didn't finish the movie. So is 'Passion of the christ'

But he has a bright future if he enters the Porno film industry as a starcast, director, producer, camera guy, all packed in one.

Braveheart is a terrible movie, showing a fake picture of the world and showing the anti english of Mel Gibson, who is one of the biggest women haters and racists going.
