Zig Zag Towers accomodation

Its crazy.
Prices are crazy.

Much more expensive than my actual accomodation and less services.
Everything is under works, no swimming pool, no gym, electricity not included, water not included, AC not included, Qtel not included, internet not included, most of them not furnished...

Are we crazy? How is that they are renting the premises?

hi

i am moving to qatar soon and was wondering about renting at the ZIG ZAG towers (lol at the name).

Ive seen it before and have visited it as well. Although I am doubtful about moving in a building so new, and not finished, it seems like the better option amongst most apartment buildings in Qatar.

Can someone give me a number to contact for renting a 2 (large) or 3 bedroom apartment at the ZIG ZAG?

Thanks.

Adnan

I just moved in and reckon the price is good for Doha. We are paying 11k for one of the bigger two bedroom flats and the view is amazing. The quality is also good compared to most places I have seen in this country. Once all the facilities are finished and the mall is complete it will be really good I think.

Not sure how many flats you have seen in Doha but from my experience all the finishings are crap. You cant compare Doha to the rest of the world. They just do everything in a hurry here and dont care about how it turns out.

I went to see a couple of apartments in the zig zag towers, when I stood by the window, I felt like the whole building was moving.

I'm not scared of heights, I currently live on the 30th floor in an apartment block.

Can't judge the Pearl yet as its not finished, from what I saw at the Zig Zag tower it would be really hard to be worse, but who knows I may eat my words.

price reasonable?

they were asking me 9K QAR for unfurnished apartment.

Probably I would be able to bargain up to 8K QAR, but if you do the maths about how much you are going to pay in furniture, electricity, water, qtel, etc... its crazy.

You can find better opportunities in some of the towers in Doha.

I find the rent prices pretty reasonable. But yes, the rest is all true. Not to mention shoddy plumbing.

GodFather.

Gypsy moved into the wiggly towers and we never heard from her again. Yes there is some thing weird and creepy about that place..:)

Eve,

I have to disagree with you. The management at the ZIG ZAG towers is the typical in Qatar (ask the Pearl buyers).

Amazing Qatar, all about beautiful websites that never turn out to be as advertised!

The management at the ZIG ZAG towers is the worst in Qatar you should see the way they hand over the finished apt's their a mess, woodwork scratched, ceiling tiles down as they have a/c issues, scratched marble counters, etc. etc. Not alot of bang for the bucks at that place.
