Bounced cheque law in Qatar

I gave 2500 cash deposit to a indian landload and when i hand over my keys he has given me a cheque dated 15-April-2017. but the cheque was bounced and he is not answering the phone. i tried with a another number and did tell him i will go to the police. He accept it and very francly asked me to go to police. if anyone knows please let me know there is any use to go police?

Get the cheque bounce at least three times and get a stamp from the bank then approach to capital security.

It's a serious offence and going to the police will definitely move things forward...

Go to the police and file a complaint. They will contact him to pay the monies owed
