LULU After Sales Service- PATHETIC
I have given Hitachi Vacuum Cleaner for repair some 10 days ago at Lulu D ring road.
On 20th April, I asked Lulu service person and he informed me that Vacuum cleaner is already taken by Hitachi Service guys, I followed up with Hitachi Service since then, they confirmed to me that they don't have any information on my item (it's not in their system).
THEREAFTER, I called Lulu service today, to my utter surprise, the representative told me that the item is still here and not collected yet whereas Hitachi confirmed they received no notice of pickup from Lulu D ring. Lulu person told me, in system it says sent to Hitachi but in reality, the item is still here.
It was an URGENT repair and now after 10 days, the item is still with Lulu because Lulu failed to notify Hitachi for pickup.
these people dont check properly and bippity boppity charge you randomly.
my laptop ethernet port cover broke, its 1cm plastic peice, cost 120 to repair.
my phone had "moisture detected" notification for a very long time. al watan center said it cost 300 to repair. but i didnt pay for any of those. and useless warranty wont pay for physical damage. and he even said one ui is the best update. smh. so many features removed in one ui.
Well, you could try and approach the Consumer Protection, they are pretty active here in Qatar, and am sure will help you in any way they can.
Best solution: Use the broom. It's time-tested and will not collapse thus saving you much frustration. You will find one at LuLu costing just 5 Riyals. Buy the Laxmi brand. It works well.
