Depends on why you need these tests. TOEFL has a higher acceptability than IELTS. For university admission, North American and almost all European and Australian universities accept TOEFL. British and Australian universities accept both. For immigration to the UK and Australia, you need IELTS.

ya i am also now want to go for registration for a toefl or ielts they are telling me ielts is easier

it really depends on where you are planning to go. countries such as australia and new zealand prefer ielts-certified canditates whereas countries like the USA and european countries prefer tofel. based on experience, ielts is much better but the difference isn't that big at all. if u have both certifications, of course, it's much better.
