Learning arabic

Hi all,

Since I'm here in Qatar anyway, I want to learn the arabic language. The only problem is that I'm working long days, most of the courses around here start at the time that I'm not even at home, so not realy an option. Is there an other way that I can learn the arabic language in a good way en plan this in my own time? Maybee one of those cd's or cassettes?

Any suggestion is welcome

Thanks,

the best way would be to ask someone at the office to throw a couple of arabic words your way on a daily basis until some stick in your head :)

I take a small book and ask the local Qataris for small words. They are quite happy to tell me more than I expect... Just to tell my experience.
