Parenting is an opportunity to show your worth because this is the time you can "transfer" all what you've got in your entire living here on earth. Whether we agree or not, our being is a product of who, what, how,and why that influenced us.
Parenting is a life long obligation, a golden responsibility, perfect opportunity, or anything you you may add. In parenting we are building lives. In parenting we mistakenly destroy lives also, unintentional of course.
The irony of ironies is that, there is no school for parents.
When can you say your parental role started and ends? How can you say that you are successful in rearing your children? What do you think is the best way of parenting? Can you tell me the goal, the ultimate goal of parents?
There is nothing to elaborate: there is no rule book for life. Life always finds its own ways.

chinx_lady, life in itself is a school, a university to some. are you parent yourself? if parenting comes by heart, what is the major subject to be taught to our children?

As a parent you have to be an artist. Children are your work of art. Artists love what they are doing. Artists love their works of art. And each of them is different and individual, but all belong to the same style. And you have to be an artist to be a good husband, or a lover, or whatever you are. And that means you must be a professional. Not many around, though.
Upbringing of children is a responsible and difficult task for parents throughout the life. There is no unique parenting method that will work for everyone. One has to identify what parenting style that will work for children with regards to situation.The ultimate goal of parents is to raise their children happily, giving best education and guidance who will become confident,self reliant and responsible adults.
parenting is not an exact science my friend.. Once you understand this statement, all your questions become redundant...
