UK muslim

Hi,

I have been offered a position with a company in Qatar. I am a UK born Muslim and am looking forward to the prospect of moving to Qatar with my wife. We are both practicing Muslims and are keen on the idea of living in a place where it would be easier to be 'closer' to our faith.

Is there anyone from a similar back ground an situation? Just wanting to know from people experiences of the place and if they would says it's easier to adapt to the lifestyle here coming from such a background.

Plenty from the UK and plenty who are Muslim. Both are accepted here, although few mingle with Qataris outside of the office. It depends on what you mean by 'closer' to your faith.
