hey guys hello im new to this forum and i just want to start a good topic
as most of you here are ex patriates i want to ask what you think about Qataris as a whole group please be sincere but not offensive
and thank you
Now a few people were a bit scared because they are afraid of qataris. I told him he better sit down or a I will request the air hostess to tell the pilot that we have someone causing a disturbance and the police should meet the lane on arrival. Wisely he sat down and just glared at me for the he last hour of the flight. What a c--k
Well this young Qatari with his long hair like he is a rebel spent 30 minutes in one aircraft toilet with everyone waiting. One man knocked on the door and no answer. I then told the air hostess that maybe he had a problem. Se knocked and asked if he was all right. No answer so she opened the door and he kicked back. We waited 5 more minutes and he came out shouting. 'Who was knocking on the door, tell me their name. Tell me now'
I told him that he had spent far too long in there and many other passengers were waiting. Same response from him, wanting to know the name. I indicated that the reason he spent so long in there he was full of sh1t. This of course did not please him.
Meet a very rude young Qatari on the plane yesterday, but that is not an example of all of them just one man with limited intelligence who thinks he owns Qatar airways. He didn't like me when I told him I didn't care what he thought and he should sit down
Rip,, There are many people choose their own way and didn't follow their parents, You born in your family religion but when you grow up (Assuming that you have a brain, a good one) you might choose another way
When you are born you follow the religion of your parents you have no choice in this or can you give me an example of parents who have raised thier children in a different belief to their own?
Qataris are just people that happened to born of Qatari citizens. You citizenship and your religion is dependent on your parents at birth, the same for all of humanity.
All my time on Ql i thought i am talking to humans
then i figured they were a Dog, a Monkey and a freak !!!
I am new here can't give you a feedback,,, i met 3 and they said Good Morning to me and i said Good morning back, that's all, so i can tell you that Qataris used to say "Good Morning"
It's up to each individual really. I don't have a problem understanding the local ladies I know. They are my sisters and friends just like all my other mates from around the world. Sure each of us may have our own lifestyles and quirks, but at the end of the day we still have plenty in common as women to keep us together. Likewise I know my husband feels the same about all his local friends, and he has lots of them, AlHamdulillah.
m3 ......I don't know about any other Qatari, but I am happy that at least you are sensitive and concerned enough to ask what other people think about Qataris......although I have not liked your hotheaded ways in other threads.
And much like all human beings you get good Qataris and bad Qataris, noble Qataris and ignoble Qataris, righteous Qataris and corrupt Qataris, courteous Qataris and non-courteous Qataris, etc etc.
Personally the Qatari ladies who I have befriended, and my husband's khafeel and his family and all my husband's Qatari colleagues are overall good, friendly and generous people, Allahu alam.
And I do find many locals, even strangers my family and I have met fleetingly, to be very helpful and giving. Of course there are quite a few not so nice ones as well, but I just put it down to their own personal downsides and erroneous ways, and will not consider them a slight on their nation itself.
Most that I socialise and work with are nice people. When they get in their cars and drive then they become complete........ "fill in the word of your choice."

iron sight looooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool nice comment
NM, as usual it always ends up in religion...
Are we talking about Qataris or religion here?
Of course when you are older you can choose your own path but from birth you have no choice! Anyway off topic....
Nope my parents were not like that.. and of course I am not going to raise me kids like that..
There are couples with different religions..
Religion is a personal choice.. There are atheists in religious families and there are people with strong believe on GOD in Atheists families..
Rip,, There are many people choose their own way and didn't follow their parents, You born in your family religion but when you grow up (Assuming that you have a brain, a good one) you might choose another way

Christians raise Christians, Hindus raise Hindus, Muslims raise Muslims.
Your religion is dependent on your parents at birth ? NO
there is only one religion
Your religion is dependent on your parents at birth.
- Nope not for all.
thanks guys i just learned that we are human beings.....XD
Qataris as a whole are also human beings like everyone of us.
Simply human being …nothing special or nothing superior
Real Qataris are really good, friendly, accommodating and really they are people that show a respect to others and lovable in and out...
Qataris are just people that happened to born of Qatari citizens. You citizenship and your religion is dependent on your parents at birth, the same for all of humanity.
OOOOHH
All my time on Ql i thought i am talking to humans

Qataris, like most of us are normal human beings !
Qatari's are better than Saudi's..

most of them are helpful and some are hypocrite...

well you could find biggots and racists all over the world
Not really true, many GCC nationals can't stand some of their fellow Arabs from North Africa and in fact look down on them
as an expat you shouldn't be asking this in the first place. there is a distinct gap between THEM and US here
M3dad, what a stupid question, seriously!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nomerci, nicely done
Exactly, there are also same like any other community in the world BUT they are fortunate to be born as Qatari, highly privileged GCC nationals.
As anywhere else in the world, you find good and bad.
for me Qataris are extreme...
And much like all human beings you get good Qataris and bad Qataris, noble Qataris and ignoble Qataris, righteous Qataris and corrupt Qataris, courteous Qataris and non-courteous Qataris, etc etc.

Very True BG!. Qatari's are very generous sharing their bread to us expats, and what most of us do? cry over and over again about the discrimination.
thank you for your honesty BG
yes that unfortunate but true infact i did not know that until i came to QL
looooool yeah well driving isnt these same all over the world
try going to saudi then you will see true horror on the road
generous ppl who allow haters to come settle n make a fortune
I'll give you that, they are better than the Saudis.
