Why are Wealthy people not happy ???

thas true... rich will get richer ..and poor stays like that

Because rich people can never buy love nor happiness..

yes i agree wealth makes life comfortable and reduce any worries of survival. but whether rich or poor we have issues that makes us unhappy...but its up to you how to deal with them. whether make life positive lor let it tear you down...

Its all relative.. But those that i do know are quite happy and comfortable with their lives..

i know wealthy people who are happy and contented with their lives...specially those who experience rags to riches..as they value more their wealth (hard earned)..

Not all, but many wealthy people tends to sway away knowingly or unknowingly to giving service to his God by HIS commandments and God is giving them away to misery. They may look happy outside but inside of them.....

this amount is required to make u happy. say u re happy wen u dont have to worry about ur food. u r happy wen u dont have to worry about ur house leaking in rain or wen u dont have to worry about paying your kids' school fee.. so dont u agree that u need money to be happy to a certain level? these are small happy things tht muny can get u. others like love, friends etc, muny cant get u

I know quite a few rich people here in Doha and they are all in good health and are very happy. I don't think all rich people are sad. Am happy and I hope to be rich someday, so I can provide for my family, but I also pray for the wisdom to be prudent in my spending and also way of life.

For 2 reasons..... First, yer could never trust if people were only yer friend cos yer had money.

second, i can easily find things to do in my own solitude, so i could tour the world, meet new people , but not have to become friends..

Some of the worst people I have ever met are those who use others for what they can do for them.

And some of the best people I have ever met really don't mind how much another person has and are friendly and caring to every person they meet.

I'd much rather have the latter as a friend.

As long as one doesn't become dependent on money then life can be very happy. Money shouldn't rule our lives but we should rule over our money!

I agree with Diamond with her statement. And would like to add confidence, companionship, respect for ourselves and others and a humble disposition all help one to be happy and grateful for what we have been given.

if you are wealthy and raised properly, I think you will be happy and having all the comfort of life is everybody's dream. Maybe you met some or many (depends on how many), of these in your everyday life. The burden of "unhappy" wealthy people usually lies on the elder generation because they need to work harder to keep their wealth or business or position in the society. They worries so much because blah,blah,blah and to make sure that their children will not be "a black sheep in their family or will not bring dishonor to their family" sort of.

That is the goodness if you are just average, getting enough or a litte bit more than enough to have your everyday's family requirements or needs, peace with everybody and specially peace with HIM (here I go again, religious aspects).

But honestly, I wouldn't mind having some manageable problems if I have a fleet of 'Chedengs, BMW's, Cadillacs, etc.etc.etc. and a big house that can fit-in Qatar Sport Club. hehehehehe!!!!!!!!

You are ill, so yer go to the best Hospitals in the world with top class surgeons etc.

After all, yer not worrying where yer next meal is coming from, or how yer gonna afford to pay yer rent or bills etc.
