Enjoy Ramadan in style at Four Seasons Doha
Ramadan is a time of reflection and understanding, where Muslims all over the world submit to regular prayer and daytime fasting.
As the sun sets, the city of Doha comes to life as family and friends head to elaborately decorated Ramadan tents in some of the most luxurious hotels and restaurants in the country to break their fasts with an Iftar buffet or fuel up for the coming fast with Suhoor. We checked out one of the most lavish Ramadan tents in the city.
The beautifully designed Ramadan tent at the Four Seasons Doha is located in their impressive Al Mirqab ballroom. At Iftar and Suhoor, guests can not only take in beautiful and authentic Arabesque décor, but they can also dine on traditional flavors of Arabia. The ambiance of this tent is further enhanced by the melodic harmonies of the Arabic oud.
The tent offers a widespread buffet of scrumptious traditional Arabic dishes and an array of delectable international cuisines featuring Ramadan live entertainment.
We visited the tent to enjoy a fantastic Sohour. For starters the green salad station offer dinners a selection of fresh mesculns, Rocca, lollo rosso, lollo biondo, frissee and romaine.
You can also try the Caesar salad and assorted condiments to include: Fresh cherry tomatoes, sliced cucumber, grated carrots, sliced olives, artichoke hearts, parmesan cheese, croutons and assorted nuts. There is a lot more to explore in the salad station.
We also recommend stopping by the chilled seafood bar. The smoked salmon and steamed prawns with cocktail sauce are perfect for seafood lovers. The Japanese Sushi Station is another great option to delight your palette with Assorted sushi rolls including tuna, salmon, shrimp cucumber and vegetables
Before heading to the mains, we also recommend trying the Arabic mezzah station, where one can find the usual suspects including, Hommus, Mohamara, Baba Ghannouj, Keshkeh and Tabbouleh, among others.
When it comes to the mains we are pleasantly surprised by the butter chicken and the green vegetable curry with steamed rice and Parata, naan bread.
They also have amazing Oriental main courses. We enjoyed the Oriental mix grill that includes beef kabab, shish tawouk & lamb kofta as well as the Baked Dourad with shrimp with mix vegetable.
The stir-fried noodles and vermicelli with chicken is an outstanding dish. The pastas in this tent are also incredibly tasty.
The tent also features a shawarma and foul station as well as many Qatari dishes.
To finish the feast the tiramisu shooters, the New York cheese cake and Om Ali are the stars among the deserts. We also recommend the Crème brulee and the apricot pana cotta with florentine cookies as well as the ice cream.
