Five-hour work schedule for government staff

Government employees will have a five-hour work schedule on weekdays (Sundays through Thursdays) during the fasting month of Ramadan which is expected to begin tomorrow.

Qatar News Agency reported yesterday that during Ramadan (for the current Hijri year 1435), working hours for civil employees will be five hours, from 9am until 2pm.

According to a circular issued by the Council of Ministers, working hours will apply to all ministries, government departments, public authorities and corporations.
