Woqod to give more than 21,000 Iftar packs
In the spirit of Ramadan, Qatar Fuel (Woqod), the leading downstream energy company in the country, is distributing Iftar meal packages at its petrol stations across the country, as part of its corporate social responsibility initiatives during the holy month.
Each Woqod petrol station is serving 30 meals every day and the target is 21,600 this year.
Ibrahim Jaham Al Kuwari, CEO, Woqod, said: “We would like to take this opportunity to greet our customers on the blessed occasion of Ramadan. The month presents a special time for Woqod to communicate and interact with the community.
“The humanitarian initiative aims at reviving values of solidarity and faith embodied in the holy month and will continue throughout the month to help our customers break fasting on time without any problem,” he said.
This year’s initiative is part of Woqod’s growing support for charitable and social programmes, and is a reflection of its corporate social responsibility strategy.
