2nd day not good day

Work time 5 am to 3 pm.

Today was 2nd day at site. It’s located along Al Khafji Street near Duhail roundabout. It is not big project site only has six workers. My company given project to subcontractors.

I not have driving licence so my company arrange. Around 2 .30 pm I got call from my supervisor “today evening no transportation from company and arrange myself”.

3 pm we stop work. My colleagues went by their pick up. I requested subcontractor driver drop me at TV roundabout from there I can easily catch karwa taxi. Very difficult to catch Karwa taxi from my site. But driver replied “Wait 10 to 15 minutes here you can find taxi”. He too tired from long work time.

I stand there around 45 minutes waiting taxi. Some Indian and Pakistan drivers flash headlight. It’s common by private taxis in the city. I not want to travel in private taxi.

At last I got only private taxi at 4 pm. He demands 30 QR to industrial area. I started bargain 20, 25 etc no change from his side. At last I reach at my office. My supervisor want taxi bill but I not have because it was private taxi. At last he said this time no need bill but not repeat it. He given me 20 QR that is actual fare; I loss 10 Qr.

I hopefully waiting my driving test in karwa driving school; if I pass in first test I can solve my transportation issues fast. I want karwa public buses service at least all the main roads in Qatar as soon as possible. How you solved your transporting issues if no vehicles.
