AMBULANCE...HELP!!!!!!
Today at Al Nasr Street at the intersection of Toys r Us there was a big accident. The shocking thing is, there were 2 ambulances trying to reach the scene & get those troubled guys out of their cars but there was no way for them to get there. It took the ambulance around 7 minutes just to pass one traffic light and I am not sure how long ago the accident occurred. None of the cars were willing to give the way, after the emergency car tried to squeeze in between those cars about 10 cars were following the ambulance to skip the traffic jam, they were running the red light and following it in a speed. It just made me realize how ignorant they were. I hope no one is gonna need an ambulance here, by the time they get to you and take you to the hospital you are drop dead even if you have 7 lives.
Stone cold,
Not all the accidents happen to those who are speeding and violating the rules, I don’t care about those impatient drivers and they deserve it sometimes, but I am talking about innocent people who have nothing to do with it but they got victimized by those J*rks.
"I'd love to change the world, but I can't find a big enough diaper"
oh yeah.. i think all the car drivers are listening to you and from tomorrow they will do exactly what you have told them to do here...lol
dear, just try to understand, there would be no fines and disqualifications of lisences if the traffic on roads had been decent and law abiding..
when you cannot police the crowd in an effective way, you got to come out with alternative methods to reach the objectives... and out here, its saving lives of people.
A chopper is not the point. Other car drivers should get out of the way to let the ambulance through, not tailgate it because they think it helps them get through traffic.
As usual its "mind your own business" even at a stage of helping accident victims. For most of these motorist, presummably life is already hard, and why makes them even harder by helping others. Its just like your description that now an ambulance has becomes a motocrade escort for these impatience drivers.
UAE uses a chopper in such rescue operations...probably, qatar also should use the same if its possible to hover a chopper in such crowded locations..it would definitely help at times.
