Dance Puppets...DANCE!

Hey Gypsy do you think they see through our scheme to annoy both of them? LOL j/k =p

Stay safe all.

P.S. Scarlett....I HONESTLY did not know Gringo was that offensive....I always thought it was mexico's slang for yanks.

Perfection does not exist. The question therefore, is: what level of imperfection are we willing to settle for?

I like to think of myself as a "citizen of the world", but.

I hate to hear British folf using American versions of words.

Example;

Guys and the worst thing to ever invade our shores;

WHATEVER.

I have told my children that is a swear word and they won't use it in our house.

But I allow them to use sh1t, bugger and f@rt like it was normal.

Not "Like it was free".

But then I am old fashioned.

TCOM I have noticed actually that QL goes through stages. There are times when

A) nobody posts anything, this is followed by a stage where ...

B)everyone gets in a silly mood and hijacks threads and makes jokes non-stop, then ...

C)the jokes get dull and people get bored and complain there is nothing interesting happening, then ...

D) some troll appears (I will not mention her name) and attacks everyone and it turns into a big fight, then...

E) everyone gets bored of the fight BUT they are still cranky so the someone starts some controversial (or not so controversial topic) and it turns into culture/race/religion bashing, THEN...

A) nobody posts anything....and so on and so forth.

You talk like the Americans (well you are a North American) and you spell like the Brits. As for knives and forks, are there any to be found in your trailer park?

How did a joke about the English language turn into a war between Americans and British? Let's just face it, you all talk funny. Only Canadians have found the happy medium. :D ;)

" Brits get snooty when speaking to anyone other than themselves."

It sounds 'snooty' because we havent destroyed the language to make it simple to understand. It was cultivated through hundreds of years of culture. Americans simplified so you could spell it as it sounds.

( It mite luk lyk this in the fewcha)

"Maybe one of these days Brits will learn there are actual other languages than their own"

From a Country where only 12% of the population have left the States and most couldnt find Iraq or Britain on a map. Insular at its finest!!

"Brits use the back of the fork because they haven't learned how to cut and use the correct side of a fork"

Why would Americans need a fork for KFC, MacDonalds, Burger King, Taco Bell, ( the list is endless.)

Im being defensive not offensive. However ( in my best American accent), "if your gonna bring it..bring it"

first of all GRINGOS is a not so nice word for ALL white people, not just Americans..which I don't appreciate being called..

Brits use the back of the fork because they haven't learned how to cut and use the correct side of a fork, and I've seem MANY a Brit shovel faster than an American. Nothing like seeing amashed up food all shoved together so it sticks on the tines of a fork.

Brits get snooty when speaking to anyone other than themselves.

Maybe one of these days Brits will learn there are actual other languages than their own.

Smart...check out one of the ways its defined in Webster's..

smart /smɑrt/ Pronunciation Key - Show Spelled Pronunciation[smahrt]

8. having or showing quick intelligence or ready mental capability: a smart student.

So...that being said...howdy Y'all...(notice I didn't say you guys...actually that's because I prefer to use, you folks..)

Americans only need one utensil to eat their main course... which they use to drag (not cut because it is a fork)the food apart and then shovel it in.

I also resent being called a guy as in Hey you guys!

A kid is a baby goat and not a child.

i detest when someone says 'gee your accent is so cute!'

Also smart is well dressed not intelligent.

I hate the way they turn nouns into verbs.

network - networking dialogue - dialoguing

I hate they way they talk in bloody psycho babble regurgitated from talk shows and self help books.

ie. i have personal issues i am learning to acknowledge in a non-confrontational way thru supportive group therapy.

I do love Richard 123 who is the epitome of the erudite gentleman.
