Apple Releases its latest - OS X Lion
Apple Inc. will be releasing the next version of their popular Operating system Macintosh (in short Mac) this week. They have planned the official release today, July 20, 2011. Apple enthusiasts are eagerly waiting to see how the latest version is going to be different from their almost 2 year old Mac OS X Snow Leopard.
Apple claims to have challenged the accepted way of doing things on computers by adding news features that are different from usual. Major changes have taken place in the launch pad, auto hiding scroll bars and mission control. Adding to this, the documents are automatically saved, so the user does not have to worry about saving them manually. The apps, once closed, start from the last place you were working on , eliminating the effort you put in to find what you were doing last on that app.

Yes, if you bought your Mac since June 6 you are eligible for a free upgrade. Check out the website and register. You need your serial number, date and place of purchase, etc.Mandi
The upgrade costs $29.99. Apple says the OS would be free for any new purchase of a Mac from the launch date, which is today.. anyway try contacting the Apple customer service, maybe you've got a chance..
I just bought the MBP 13" Intel Core i5 2 weeks ago at 51east. Is my MBP applicable for a free update through the OSX Lion up-to-date programme even when I buy it in Qatar? Anyone knows?
