Arab hip-hop festival in Qatar

The first Arab Hip-Hop Festival will be kick off on April 3 at the Hilton Hotel Doha, featuring over a dozen established Arab hip-hop artists from around the world.

The festival will showcase Rap, DJ-ing, breakdancing, beatboxing and Graffiti art.

More than 1200 visitors are expected to witness and interact in phenomenal shows, competitions, movie screenings, and panel discussions. Fans will also have the opportunity to meet and greet key hip-hop celebrities, learn new skills through workshops, and enjoy a range of live performance and competitions around the area.

The festival will feature the first Arab Hip Hop conference, which will be attended by Hip-hop experts, speakers and media representatives from around the nation and region on April 3 and the outdoor festival on April 5 and 6, with musical performances and diverse zones, such as the Fan Zone, VIP Lounge, and Battleground, where various stage acts will all be featured.

The Arab Hip-hop Festival will feature some of the industry’s leading acts including Doha based beatboxer Ahmad Aba-Zaid, B M G & K I M from France, Satti from Jordan, Boikutt and El Far3i from Palestine, the Arabian Knightz crew, MC Amin from Egypt and female rapper Malikah from Lebanon.

The festival is organised by Youth Enterprise in partnership with, Youth Hub Qatar, Hilton Hotel, and Red Apple Events and Media.
