Mr M.

In football anything can happen. There have been many surprises both at club level and International stage as well.I hope Iraq,India and Iran do well in the tournament.Besides, those three have a huge fan base here so that should give them a boost.

well Brit, Japan is a good team too...they put up such a good performance at the last WC, so did Korea...If Japan have Mr. Mitshubishi in their team, I will support them cause I drive a Mitshubishi, lol.

Errrr EMC-12 Park Ji Sung of Man U is Korean so I don't think he will be playing for Japan.

By anonymous• 21 Dec 2010 22:17

I would like to see Japan win just because of Park who plays for ManU. Otherwise, I see Australia as probable winner.

India got 2 matches right across the road from my home in Al Sadd, something to look forward to :)

Brit, they were in the Oceania conference, but FIFA granted them them out to improve their play on the world stage, as they felt they were way above the likes of NZ, Fiji, Tonga etc

Oh yeah, and if Qatar top or come second in their group the chances are they'll get Japan or Saudi in the next round. I can't see them going further than that, but if they did it would likely be against Korean Rep or Oz. Oz have already thrashed them on home soil so my gut feeling is Japan to beat Oz in the final.

Mr. M don't give us false hope :(

The group we are in is

India

Bahrain

South Korea

Australia

I hope India can get one point out of 3 games and not embarrass themselves :(

By Mr M.• 21 Dec 2010 16:17
Mr M.

WK i'm pretty sure they will,in fact they could even beat Bahrain. They aren't a very strong side.

So there.Maybe a win and if the Koreans slip up then there indeed is hope for a surprise 2nd place finish!
