Aspire Urban Adventure
Aspire Zone is set to host its first adventure racing obstacle challenge on October 18, 2014, and registration is open for teams willing to push their bodies and minds over a range of innovative tasks at this event.
What is Aspire Urban Adventure event?
The Aspire Urban Adventure is an amazing way to spend the day exploring the Aspire Zone venues. The Aspire Urban Adventure gives participants a great introduction into the growing sport of Adventure Racing.
Racers will challenge themselves against an array of urban obstacles including; scaling the heights of the Olympic high board and then plunging deep into the pool below, summiting Aspires very own climbing wall, kayaking around the lake and trail running across the park all to become an Aspire Urban Adventurer.
The Adventure
Teams will take part in the first Aspire Urban Adventure Race that has been designed to challenge the body and the mind to the maximum.
Set across Aspire Zone, the racers will have to run from check point to check point to meet 10 separate challenges that will see them taking part in all kinds of urban sports.
Details of the challenges will not be revealed until the day, so team selection will be of the critical factors in deciding who will become the Aspire Urban Adventure Champions of 2014.
Awards & Urban Adventure Categories
Awards will be given to the top overall finishers in the men’s open event and the mixed event. The Aspire Urban Adventure Award 2014 will be awarded to the fastest course time achieved on the day.

The competition is to take place on October Saturday 18th October, so whether you're starting out in your quest for adventure, want to try something new or have the Adventure Racing bug, we've got a format to suit you.

Registration
To register a team, there must be 5 persons, 4 players and one reserved. Each team must have a captain, and it is the captain's responsibility to register the additional members. There is a non-refundable registration fee of QR 500 per team, payable via credit or debit card only.
