ATM experience in purchasing ITEM

last thursday i go to city centre to buy shirt and shoes and that time i get shirt and shoes already and when i go to cashier to pay using my ATM the cashier tell that no respond so we try again no respond again but in the 2nd time it is cut to my money i receive txt msg that it is debit to my account even no respond then i go to bank and report wat happen the customer service tell that wait within 1 week dats why i force to withdraw to my atm thru cash to buy the item. i just want to ask only that any of you experiencing no respond to the receipt that you purchase and also i just want to ask if the customer agent that tell 1 week is true that i receive money back tomy account what they cut thanks.
dont worry....it happened to me once in dubai in emirati mall...but money came back to account after 1 month... pls keep the reciepts and you can even write to the customer service of the bank and the shop concerned to be on safe side.
only few days the money comes back to ur accnt.
what I do is I ask for copy of the transaction and keep it with me when approaching the bank and file a complaint.
But usually after a few days the "money" comes back without major hassle.

happens with credit and debit cards. Your money will be credited within 3-4 working days. I've had this happen to me a couple of times...
Most of the banks give 10 days period for the shop owners to collect their money from bank. So if something happens like u mentioned you need to collect both the merchant and costumer copies of your bill. Automatically after 10 days you will get your credit back to ur account.
It happens quite frequently. Not to worry, just keep the receipts.
They give you a week to 10 days because it might take that amount of time for the 2 banks to settle.
it is common problem here. It normally rectifies itself after a few days..

yeah, it happened with me once when i tried to buy using my credit card; that time the amount of 2,500 was deducted twice from my credit card so i went to my bank and made a complain and after aprox. 10 days i received my money back (I mean the credit limit).
but keep on reminding the bank to keep the matter active till you get ur cash back
