BROTHERS & SISTERS PLEASE THINK TWICE…….

If ALLAH Grant you 70 years of life…..
You would spend:
24 years sleeping
14 years working
8 years in amusement
6 years at the dinner table
5 years in transportation
4 years in conversation
3 years in education
3 years in reading
3 years in watching TV

If you prayed 5 Times every day (consider 5 min. for each pray),
you would be giving ALLAH 5 months of your life.
Can't we give 5 months out of 70 years?

Let's all give ALLAH a minimum of
5 months of our lives! (Try)
May ALLAH Bless all of us………….

ITS THE QUALITY NOT THE QUANTITY OF PRAYERS.

I CAN PRAY 23HRS A DAY 7 TIMES A WEEK, WOULD THAT MAKE ME IMMUNE TO SINS?

LETS TREAT YOUR BROTHERS AND SISTERS AS WHAT HAVE OUR TEACHINGS TOLD US. THEN MAYBE THIS WORLD IS A PERFECT WORLD FOR US.

lets say you pray 5 times a day, make it 10. then you treat others like s**t, think you r better than everyone else, and look down at them, does this practice make u closer to god or further away from him..just a thought

AbuAmerican,You are right.I was hoping to see Islam properly being followed in khaleej when i came here.but I was wrong.

Being a muslim by birth, hadn't I gained the knowledge of Islam I would have gone astray too. Thanks to Allah for guiding us in the right path.

Thank you for the post.keep up the good work.

I rather spend 3 times a week having sex with a good looking woman. No emotions or compromises involved until I die, screw religion or those so call Gods.

I have seen everything in Dr. Phil show and Oprah....

Yes QL, I think sleeping and praying are almost equally useless. But sleeping has the added benefit of rest. Not everyone believes what you believe.

thanks sahilm79 for posting a good post. May all muslims ponder this. We really have short life in this world. We have our target. We must be sure that we hit it bulls-eye before we reach death.

For non-muslims, I respect your beliefs, you must respect us also.

I understand/know this Abu,

My message was - sin less.

It is just that I have seen so many wrong doings in the last 5 years, especially on humanitarian level that I wonder - why do people even pray?

(and this goes for Christians as well as Muslims)

When your Heart Beat stops you will ask...Now What...!!!

We will not get enough time to think...

We will not get enough time to ask...

If Allah decided to take our life now, We can't stop it.

Our plans, future, Family, Movies, Girls, Boys, Friends, Lover'(s), Money, Job, Car, Qatar, India, US, Uk.

We will request to him to give more time to Pray, When he hold our life(Rooh).

So PRAY...

By anonymous• 14 Jul 2009 14:59
anonymous

Excuse me..

Why do you ask people to pray?

Why do you not ask people to not commit sins, live a good life?

Praying is asking for forgiveness, right? Therefore almost a justification for committing sins, hence... the less you pray the lesser your sins must have been and vise versa.
