Chinese man sues wife for being 'ugly'
Hmmm... all for a better future :-0 ... you know, I've heard from some people who live there that daughters are trained to snare a rich hubby - who will end up financially supporting her entire family.
For some of us, that is entirely unacceptable but I've been told that necessity takes precedence over morals. Sad. I've also been told that I don't know what it's like to compete with a huge population to come out tops in life - which is true in the monetary sense only.
"It is well with my soul" no matter what happens.

London, Oct 27 (ANI): "A man from northern China, who divorced and sued his wife for being ugly, earlier this year, has won the case after the court agreed with him.
... Feng said he took issue with his wife's looks only after the couple's daughter was born.
He said that he was taken aback by his daughter's appearance, calling her "incredibly ugly," and saying that she looked like neither one of her parents."
"Feng filed for divorce saying that his wife had deceived him and convinced him to marry her under false pretense."
britexpat said "He's an idiot and the judge is no better..."
Actually, you are right. He should take responsibility for his own decisions, right? After all, he decided to marry her...
So, she was ok to Bonk, but not to be seen with..
So, she was ok to Bonk, but not to be seen with..
Yup, he didn't sue her for being ugly but then it makes a more catchy headline
He's an idiot and the judge is no better...
Hussshhhh..I dont know what to say...my hats off to
the judge and I really really hate the media which
made the personal problem of a family so popular
that we people in Qatar talking about it...
he sued her (and won) for lying and hiding the truth. not for being ugly.
plastic surgery change everything nowadays,,
You mean he sued the Creator
It doesn't sound like he's divorcing her for being ugly, it sounds like he's accusing her of having an affair.
media hype about females being portrayed as a commodity in advertisements.
