Clubs @ Doha

Dear All, just wonder if any of you join clubs, eg Doha Golf Club, Doha Club, Diplomatic Club, etc in Doha. grateful if you can share the experience as i'm looking for a membership.

by the way, any idea of what's the membership fee for them, especially the Diplomatic Club?

Expensive, in a word. I knew two keen golfers on about 20,000 a month between them who deemed the Golf Club too expensive. But if you can afford it, they're pretty pleasant, with pools, lounges and the company of professional peers. Garveys and the Rugby Club are a lot cheaper and correspondingly less exclusive.
