Distractions while driving

I had a narrow escape this morning. A gentleman was very busy on personal grooming and texting completely ignored me while he was changing to the left lane where I was going at 80. Thankfully I managed to escape this arogant guy however we can't expect to be the luckiest everyday. These common distractions while driving, which though look quite simple, have the tendency to trigger a disaster.
At the end of the day, it is these norms of safe driving that can make your journey safe, and free of accidents.Wish you safe driving all of you.

you have to drive in 3D

honestly in my daily road to work from Waab to Westbay. I know 2 places where there's 80% to have/find accident every day:

- Waqood Teyseer petrol station

- Signal near Barzan Tower

I just keep left lane on those

i agree with you..personally i experienced a road accident here sometime in february..i was rush to the hospital because of that..now whenever i'm on the road, i always fear roundabouts, intersections for the fear of another accident again..

you are right... defensive driving is a must in this country.. though this had been a redundant topic however this is worth reading for a good reminder for everybody.

happygolucky,

I think we all should go on a defensive driving program to ensure that one is not caught in a road accident...

Rizks..I am in Qatar and becoming tired of the guys who smoke cigarettes while driving, why can't they always pull the car to the side of the road and satisfy the urge?

We just have to Pray with our GOD to be safe at all times.

CARELESS PEOPLE ARE EVERY SIDE OF THE ROAD!

WE JUST NEED TO BE MORE ALERT & DEFENSIVE WHILE DRIVING.

i personally make sure i dont use cell phone while driving, but cant expect it from others though.

I had a narrow escape yesterday night when an arab guy in his accord almost hit me while speaking on his cell phone... no points for guessing he was hardly concentrating on his driving.
