you both are on the same wavelength, yes, it can last.

If both of you just intend to have good fun, share moments and do not think about driving the relationship to the next level, it can be fun.

Tricky situations could occur if one wants to move to the next level conflicting with what the other thinks!!

Depends on how you handle it. Made a few friends online who were very helpful and fun to be with when visited their countries. Some of them who visited India were also happy to have someone known there. However, its not all that easy to find the right kind of person, a lot of caution is required.

Trust : perfect defination of trust is to give someone the complete authority to destroy you but at the same time being confident that he/she will never do it.

no internet friends wont last longer.as soon as they get bzy in thier lifes they will forgot you.even real friends do that also but very rarely.

but it actually depends on how strong is the bond of friendship between them.

I had an online friend for years. We used to chat every day. When I met her in real life she turned out to be another friends wife, but she had not changed her family name :o)

aaaaaaaa......... virtual life it is......real frnd is real frnd u use to meet see... catch them... feel them near u... like u call sum one far away the feeling is very different to talk to same person face to face..... physical presence always have some importance..... so if u wana compare it with that two phases of frndx itx of no use...... both are separate chapters..... this net frndhsip has given me super duper frndx........ more than i can imagine in real one... yea the percentage of getting dumped online is more than face to face..... but good persons are still there after all we all are using it... and we r the ones who are frndx of one another here.. so stay positive watch out... open ur eyes.. pay ur internet bill timely & enjoy........

It all depends, some people prefer to stay friends in the virtual world only so it can last online, however, to people like me, who still prefer social interaction over this artificial world, having friends offline can last so long as I get along with them. It is possible BS

YES, I have had online friends from another country for 4+ years now and whenever I'm travelling, we meet up and have a great time... it all depends on how you want it to go ;-)
