Make sure you dont miss it. This year we are going
to have two performance areas on the stage to make the changes between acts as
seamless as we can, a non-stop show. Check out the bands

A 4x4 isn't strictly necessary to get to the singing dunes, though it wouldn't hurt.  The last 600 m or so is over rocky hardpan.  Did it last year in a Lancer with no problem, just watch out for large rocks.

I would like to go too... with QL ofcourse :):):)

And lets not forget my hubs hahahaha

Well let me know how to get there and if 4x4 is needed because we don't have 4x4 so we may need to ride with one of you guys... if that is ok.

Well i hope to hear from you soon :):):)

This event is confirmed but maybe the organizers did not update the website purposely. They just want to spread the news through friends and groups etc... I 'd like to go with Qatar Living  group if any of yew are coming over to experienced dunestock 08. I guess this is a great time to spend weekend.

come on people lets get together as a group with our banners "qatar living rock!" (lol)

even if we have to pay for the items..it would be nice to go as a group...

However, since it's next weekend...do we have enough time to do that???

I've missed it the three previous Dunestocks.  This is my last chance to catch it.  I'd be happy to go with a QL crowd or to meet up with them there.  But it might be difficult with so many people.

I'm not really into live music but it'll be an exciting experience.

Actually, if I'm in a good mood to go will depend on the success of the job interview from the previous weekend (Apr 12).  If that goes well, I'll be dancing to ANY kind of music.

rael - I've PMd people and begged them to give some proper, official confirmation, but no one has yet. And their website doesn't appear to have been updated since last year.

I'll be there!!

Found out also (although you probably already know if you were there last year) that you buy tickets on the gate, don't need them in advance.

Don't know how much they will be yet, let you know when I do :)
