No one relation is perfect because of the colour or inter racial or same race marriages. It depends on the individual and the character of those individuals who are in it to make it easy or hard.

My family is taboo with everything! I was told most of my childhood "YOU MUST MARRY A NICE GREEK BOY EH." Yet, my grandfather didn't marry Greek he married an American Serbian. So, I think with them it is not so much culture than it is race. And the whole conversation started because my uncle was being a racist asshole. If God didn't want it that way then we all be the same. But instead we are put on this earth to coexist.

My personal feelings are...that it don't matter. As long as he has a good heart, is a good person inside and we make music together then what does it matter what is outside? I am all for interracial relationships ^^. It's better for the gene pool that's what I say!! Family can get over it not as if they are the ones marrying them. When the time comes he knows I will being holding his hand through it all ^^. What's the worst that will happen!?

Well thankfully the God I worship states in His books via his messenger that he created all of mankind to not be superior over another except by good deeds and piety.

Our Prophet stated: "An Arab is no better than a non-Arab. In return, a non-Arab is no better than an Arab. A red raced man is no better than a black one except in piety. Mankind are all Adam's children and

Adam was created out of clay" [Al-Bukhari and Muslim, on the authority of Abu Musa].

Many of my friends are married to men of different races and nationalities and each of them have very blessed good marriages. My own hubby is of dutch origin, hence white skinned, and Al Hamdullilah our marriage is doing just fine.

And on a side note kids from white and black parents have gorgeous complexions, Masha Allah, hence the combo of ebony and ivory rocks!

We are all the same under the skin..What does it matter?..You can't help who you fall in love with, all the other factors don't come in to it..Love conquers all

Inter racial relationships produces offsprings so handsome and beautiful.... and that's when Ebony and Ivory mixes, truly it brings a perfect harmony. :o)

Also it makes life more interesting to know and share each others' culture, tradition and beliefs.

All is fair in love. Color, breed, etc. aren't an issue. But it's important that you marry someone of your own beliefs in order for your relationship to thrive. Your faith in God is of foremost importance, and it'll bring you together for better or worst.

I honestly don't think it matters much in this day and age. I feel like the odd one out for being married to someone who's the same skin colour and religious background as me!

There will be challenges cropping up later, when you socialise & off spring will grow up , many questions will be posed to them , you know.

One of my sister is married to a Scot, they got a kid and is happily married, we love him and his family and vice versa.

My parents are inter-racial and I am in an inter-racial relationship. If 'God' didn't want it then why did he create so many different human beings.

But, he gave us legs, and cars, and airplanes, and ships, so that we can contact each other miles, and miles away.

There is a verse in Qura'n that encourages people of different races and cultures to get to know each other and get acquainted.

Also, there are several Hadeeths that encourage people to marry from different tribes and nations.

Sahih International: O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

Pickthall: O mankind! Lo! We have created you male and female, and have made you nations and tribes that ye may know one another. Lo! the noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.

Yusuf Ali: O mankind! We created you from a single (pair) of a male and a female, and made you into nations and tribes, that ye may know each other (not that ye may despise (each other). Verily the most honoured of you in the sight of Allah is (he who is) the most righteous of you. And Allah has full knowledge and is well acquainted (with all things).

Shakir: O you men! surely We have created you of a male and a female, and made you tribes and families that you may know each other; surely the most honorable of you with Allah is the one among you most careful (of his duty); surely Allah is Knowing, Aware.

My family has every race/ethnic background. So i was raised with all different cultures etc. The marriages/relationships with mixed couples actually have lasted longer than the same race marriages (in my family) I think mixing the races is great if you both love each other race isnt an issue. We all learn from each other if we were all the same we would be bored out of our minds.... ^_^

relationship, its can never can be limited, within the races as well as not just to one facet only,,,,

it can be friendship, love, brotherhood, believes, customs, culture and to a little extent business matters also.

ideally the relations should benefit the society and humanity, it should be exemplary for the races (i mean it should not be vulgar or opportunist)

it should not be time bound, like it should a legacy that generations to come should follow it as modest & best social practice....
