Has anyone eaten at Grand Joud Café, across from the Ramada?
What kind of food is it? Atmosphere?
Any other restaurants "A Must" here in Doha?

gets a thumbs down from me. Very expensive so-so food. I can get the same sort of food--only 10 times better, for a fraction of the cost at Turkey Central. Maybe the decor isn't quite as glamorous at Turkey Central, but I would rather my money went for tasty food, not for decor.
although sheesha there is not always good either...
btw, i really don't understand what is their problem with sheesha in qatar.. why they never can prepare it properly...

the place is called Al Arabi, sarookh is mid sized, ask for hummer :P

try the shawarmas from AL nasser street. right next to marmara istanbul(restaurant) theres a restaurant with a green sign board, i forgot its name but they make really good shawarma's......ask for "sarooookh" lol .. my friends and i enjoy it very much for random outside meals.

Service? scale of 1 to 10, I'd give them a 6.
The only problem is that as soon as you sit, they open up a bottled water for you even if you don't request it...
FOOD? i'm not picky with food...but their food is fine by me.

it's not too bad place for the casual dinner.. food is ok, and service is not too bad as well... i used to go there for sheesha as well, but not anymore.. sheesha is not too good there...

I like all types of food, the best indian restaurant in my opinion is Royal Tandoor. Opposite to the Masraf Al Rayan Sadd branch.
