but we're talking friendship here, right? so why worry?? or friendship with BENEFITS??? Coz around here, the two hardly differs...

the line..

guy: i want to be your friend.

meaning: "i want to have sex with you."

Icy politeness is classy/sophisticated and controlled. I'm not. I'll just detach and ditch. See that revolving door over there?

/Btw, I wouldn't need a revolving door if there weren't sooo many with their pants in fire..

Rizks said if a person is a fake, i would give him a CAKE...:)"

in his face too!!

Seriously, faking the friendship - non-verbal cues and inconsistent statements. How to handle? Just wave tata. .. or bury him and then wave tata.. have to go with the flow with these things, y'know.

If unfortunately emotionally attached, then detach and ditch the mitch.

friendships?yes,,,in my case its a YES!!!

and then there are some...

and the facade we often see,the actions of people we take note of,can be misleading,or misunderstood.

ive learned that we cannot please all the people we meet in our lifetime.

alexa is correct, deal with them with icy politeness.

steve ,yes,,,ive learnt from it and moved on from time to time...

Where did sex come into it ??

As far as the question is concerned - Afterwards , look at it as a lesson learned and move on.

i also find it hard to trust men specially around here... but you'll never really know unless you try... get to know the person better or play along with them without investing too much feelings... then give them a dose of their own medicine once they've blown you off.. ;)

How do you handle it after wards? It is my belief that everybody who comes into your life is there for a reason. and there is a lesson to be learnt from your encounter with them so instead of getting upset when it didnt work out ask yourself what did I learn from the experience. And always remember that in the end we are powerless over people, places and things.

he is only there when he needs something, and when you need him, he does not give you the right attention. worse, he irrelevantly blurts out your business to other people. what to do: junk him from your life.

For most men, what they wanted out of women is sex, not necessary true love especially at the roaming age. They want to get the most of it before they are tied down to marriage. For women, is money and indulgent. Remember all these lovers sweet talks at the time of dating, and war after marriage. Its rather too late to fix the problem after relationship. The damage have been done. Try to see if the above fits in, before accepting a date, and practice your wise judgement.
