Kudos to Fazaa
A few hours back, while i was waiting at a signal near bin omran, a truck loaded with gas cylinders broke down in the middle of the street. Then, I saw a police car following the truck with sirens (lights)on.
I thought the truck will be in trouble with the police. Little did i know, it was assisting the truck to go safely at the side of the road.
When it passed by me, I saw people pushing the truck and among them is a police helping out.
Kudos to you, Mr. Policeman!
Dear I see it. I didn't take a picture just not to disturb him.
The police here are amazing , and for sure this is from top.

as a personal opinion, i don't think that police men on roads should help like what we see in the picture.
their duty to insure the safety, until a solution comes.
this man is extra ordinary because , he didn't wait the solution, he started one, and avoid the traffic jam and possible accidents could happen.
Wow he can c....lol
ya i can c that
As for Zaheer....bobble dude, I have a great life...can't say the same 4 u
What has my profession got to do with it all...omg if the 1 don't work then try something else....hahahahahah
Jassy Jassy Jassy....has nothing to do with respect...has to do with my opinion....get a move on now
dude get a life
No nerve touched, internet fora usually do not tolerate such nonsense. As an HSE, if you do not respect our national security forces, you should not be here spybot.
I had damage to the spare wheel only
Its only a H3 but it saved me several times.
JJ the security personnel in Qatar are pretty helpful at times.
Would love to have a car like yours (is it a tank)that when hit by a truck, the truck gets damaged. :)
Well Done Al Faaza
bwaaaaahahahahahaha
touched
Touche a nerve I guess....hahahahaha
So your view is because I am a Western woman I behaved in a way that made them help me? Is your view that I said the UK Police were corrupt?
If so, then your view is ignorant. If that isn't your view then due to inarticulate writing style and text speak, it is impossible to understand what your view is.
I have a very interesting view that I could communicate in an educated and articulate manner but seeing as I am not dealing with someone who would be able to understand, I shall respond by using a more simple method. F off yourself and go bully someone else.
Actually it seems that this is a part of the public service. Recently I saw them ecorting a large truck where the truck back door did not close to the industrial area.
In fact even if you have to pay a fine they are helpful in explainng all the details.
This all has nothing to do with the irresponsible idiot drivers, road ragers, hard shoulder drivers and traffic light cross cutters even here the police are working on solutions. Just for information the cameras are now able to catch the latter on camera (Regency Supermarket Abu Hamour) thank goodness.
Give credit where credit is due and a lot is being done.
It's not rudeness it is my views...live with it or F off...FIFO
and it's you, not u unless you are actually a 11 year old on a mobile phone.
I was with my husband and I do not care for your insinuatiuon. If it helps, the guy who hit me was Indian and they did exactly the same for him, actually they drove him to the station in their car because obviously his was too badly damaged. They translated for him as well. And if you were able to read you would see I said that when I met people who had lived elsewhere, not in the UK. However, the UK police are underfunded, poorly trained and generally useless. I think people are wrong when they say QL has changed, in the 7 years I have been using it I have encountered the same type of ignorance and rudeness on a consistent basis and rarely enjoy the silly people who post for no better reason than because they want to be rude.
Jasmine...o btw stayed with u to translate...escorte u to the station to assist...I wonder y....
Jasmine...so u have many corrupt bobbies in the UK????
Noco...don't u think it is time u go home....hahahahaha...make space 4 the ynger ppl
MK....new ...well I don't think so...and yes they do it back home and they take pride in doing it as well...happy
I had an accident at the signals at Al Saad, a truck hit the back of my car at great speed. The Fazaa car was on the other side and came and dealt with us. They were amazing, first checking we were all okay then escorting us to the Police station and staying with us to translate. I have nothing but respect for them.
One of the things I hear a lot from people who have lived in other countries is how surprised they are that the Police are not corrupt. If they stop you for violating the traffic laws, they are not doing it to get a bribe, they are just doing their job. We are so lucky to have them and the Civil Defense who actually do want to look after us and not abuse our trust. Yet another thing on my list of why I love Qatar!
being in Qatar for more than 30 years, its a very common one. We have to learn from the locals here and also the police men here how much they come forward to help others unlike many other country people who are very confined to their comforts. Look outside with an open heart and you can see the good in the people here. Unfortunately many of the expatriates are more interested in digging out the negative behaviors and exaggerating some bad incidents. Not that its perfect. But this is the case everywhere in the world. No matter how much you try to hide it.
Spybot maybe yr new to qatar but we have seen them helping the public even when some cars breakdown in the middle of the traffic comment whether same thing happens in yr country
Oh they do so all the time..which to me is pretty praiseworthy cos the cops back from where I come from would hardly ever do like so.
koibhi...and where did u c this happen...until this pic came on QL I have neva seen them change a tyre ...pushing...pulling maybe with a tow truck????
Back home if a police is approaching u, one has to make his mind how to get ride of this trouble. But here I have seen many occasion police helping the needy persons even changing the car tyres ,pushing-pulling the cars , managing traffic in extreme heat and cold - salute to them!
to serve and to protect... it's their duty
Thnks for sharing great job helping the public
A good duty bound cop loyal to his work..nice!
Tht is part of a policeman or traffic police duty, or did you think they just there to sit on mobile phones???
That's what they are there for
salute
