Hi, welcome to Qatar, I am A qatari male, i used to be married to a girl from Kazagestan, she was a professional gymnastic coach, i had the best time in my life with here, i couldnt bring her up to doha because the government didnt allow me, we stayed togather for 4 years, we went all over the world, every time i remember her my eyes starts to .... anyway, welcome to Qatar and i would really say a word here that i met lots of girls from different places of the world but i never saw better females than the russian's, walah they are the best.

I talk little russian and little german too, and i wish i can meet someone from this continent, just for a pure decent friendly relationship coz i am married now to a local girl, and i wish i didnt do that step wish i will regret all my life, but the best thing that i got three cute boys and i love them.

Hi Dalila,

sorry slow reply, just came across your post...

You can practice these sports in the clubs, there are plenty in Doha. I believe the Doha Club to have step and aerobic classes.

It is easy to meet people, there are plenty of expats from everywhere, so you will have no problem.

Good luck

Hi Butterfly

Thanks for the reply. The kind of sports am interested in is Kick boxing, Aerobics and Step...

Do you think it is easy to find nice friends in Doha and organise outdoor and evening activities with them? I use to have a lot of friends here in Stockholm. However, I still think my new job in Doha will take most of my time.

Regards from Dalila.

Hi Dalila

Welcome to Doha

What sports are you interested in? There are plenty of clubs and gyms that you can join and you can also practice lots of water sports.

One bedroom flats are extremely difficult to find in Doha. Most probably you will end up with a 2 bedroom, which are no less than QR6000 per month. If you are fortunate enough to find a studio, then you will be paying around QR4000.

Car allowance. Mmmm. It varies. I'd budget QR50,000 for a car.

Qatar is a very safe places but as a single lady you should be taking some precautions. Just common sense, really.

All the best, Butterfly
