well , VMware is always a good option. iam not really a MAC person . iam more into OPEN source

i run windows XP on one PC at home , but i have VMWARE with SUSE installed on it . to access my servers.

as in servers .. SUN Microsystems . USE Solaris which is another OPEN source OS. " sorry to bust your bobble. but i find it disappointing .
and windows 2003 . its the most common server but not the best.
try CENTOS and u will see the differnece in Performance and stability. ;)

well nothing is hard . almost everything could be done.
there are good guides online . shows you step by step how to accomplish such taskes .
but as a start . make sure u have those done 1st ..
1 - BACKUP .. BACKUP and BACKUP . and make darn sure you can restore the data.
2 - install vista or XP first .
3 - pick a lunix OS that uses GRUB as a boot loader, so u could edit it to have multi boot options. i would recommend Fedora 8 or UBUNTU .

AND INSIDE VMWARE FUSION FOR WORKING ON WINDOWS PARALLEL....ITS REALLY GREAT WORKING ON IT..NO NEED DUAL BOOTING NO RESTARTING...
SERVER ALWAYS SUN AND WIN2K3..CANT BEAT THEM
